dori danger & the chatanooga gunman

Her name was Dori Danger
She was flirting with a stranger --
Some old Outlaw with a gun in Tennessee.

He said, "Come to Chatanooga
And I'll be your Prize Palooka
I'm so Perilous, I'll scare yer spirit free!"
He knew she thrived on danger
And he said he'd rearrange her
With a rattlesnake he'd captured near the lake.

So he tempted her with whiskey
And a promise of a risky
High Fallootin' Rootin'Tootin'
Shake 'n' Bake.

He used ev'ry trick he knew of,
Some Emoti-Cons in lieu of
Smiles and Winks and Evil Kisses
with his tongue.

He would Blues her and Amuse her
Called her "Bad" so he'd enthuse her,
Then he dared her with
a Mean Old Song he sung.

Her poor heart was lit on fire,
She put G-strings in the dryer,
Though she tried to play it safe
like a Coquette.

But he was so damn persistant
Even Dori lost resistance,
Took the rail to
No Return and Can't Forget!

What a Conman and a Robber!
Stole her heart with a Snow Jobber,
Now dear Dori's gone and she may not come back!

Though her last name sure was Danger
She was flirtin' with a stranger
Who was better at the Game of
Sneak Attack!
